Crew members help him aboard the docked boat. He stands in the main control room, as crew members explain the features of their U-boat. Next he is seen back on deck with a young woman. German disguised surface raider sinks British ship with gunfire, in Indian Ocean, and rescues survivors in World War II

German Naval war ensign displayed on an Auxiliary Cruiser (armed surface raider disguised as commercial ship) during World War 2. Crew members with binoculars observe a British commercial vessel in the Indian Ocean and signal her to stop. They fire a warning shot from one of the cruiser's 150mm guns. Crew and passengers abandon their ship and make their way in lifeboats to the German cruiser. One of the lifeboats is partially filled with water. Others arrive at the side of the cruiser where their occupants, including many civilian passengers, are brought aboard the cruiser, which continues firing at the abandoned ship with a 15cm L/45 C13 gun. Closeups of the British ship from the cruiser, show a single defensive gun mounted on her top deck. Smoke rises from earlier shelling. Next, the abandoned ship is seen settling and burning. Finally she settles below the water and pitches forward, to sink with her stern pointed straight up as she plunges below the waves.
