At beginning the film shows a contingent of Greek Evzone military guards in formation, during World War 2, wearing traditional uniforms including short version of the fustanella. Other troops are at attention behind them. They are assembled in Syntagma Square (Pl. Sintagmatos Athina 105 63, Greece) in Athens, Greece. A group of German officers led by German civilian official, Dr. Günther Altenburg, overseer of the Greek puppet government, walks past the troops. A German Waffen SS General, walking close to Altenburg renders the Nazi salute. Directly behind Altenburg, in uniform of a Lieutenant General, is Greek Prime Minister Georgios Tsolakoglou. Camera pans across the square showing troops in formation. Closeup of German army troops in formation. Glimpse from the rear as the officials pass the German formation and their leader renders Nazi salute. A closeup rear view of Dr. Altenburg and the Waffen SS General with him. First part deals with World War II Allied war crimes trials of Japanese defendants in detained in Omori Prisoner of War Camp in Tokyo, Japan. Soldiers unload luggage from the back of a truck in Omori Prisoner of War Camp. Captured Japanese generals bring their luggage to prison camp. Sign reads “XI Corps Stockade #2 Omori P.O.W. Camp”. 8th Army Chief General Clovis E. Byers and Lieutenant Colonel Salvi, Commandant of Omori, talking to each other. Japanese military officials in Omori Prison Camp include Admiral Shigetaro Shimada, Commander Shigemori Kuroda, General Masaharu Homma and Colonel Kingoro Hashimoto. Second part is Japanese General Tomoyuki Yamashita on trial for war crimes in Manila, Philippines. Few Military soldiers talk to each other at a camp. Few views of Japanese Generals under trials for war crimes. General Yamashita brought for the trial. General Yamashita enters a court in Manila for the trial. An interior view of the trial court. General Russel Burton Reynolds presides the trial session. General Yamashita sits on a chair at his trial. A member of the trial court reads a document. Lawyers give their points during the session. General Yamashita is taken out after the trial session in court.
Views of Southern France, under German occupation in World War 2
Film opens with map showing lower France and Mediterranean areas. However, it shows images covering primarily the French Riviera (or Côte d'Azur) under German occupation during World War II, in 1943 or 1944. German infantry march along a road. A flight of German FW-190 Fighter airplanes flies inland from the Mediterranean Sea and crosses low above a harbor. Change of scene shows a single fighter plane buzzing the Marseille Port. (It looks like a P-47 with invasion stripes. But It does not draw any anti-aircraft fire.) Camera tracks it from vantage point at the Marseille Basilica, high above the harbor. Brief view of the Basilica as the aircraft passes. A glimpse of the Marseille Port below from the Basilica. View of the Marseille Transporter Bridge designed by Ferdinand Arnodin and built in 1905. (It was destroyed after these films were made, in 1944.) A German soldier peering through binoculars in front of a 2 cm Flak 30/38/Flakvierling, quad anti-aircraft gun position. Another one is seen in the background. Several more views of German anti-aircraft and other gun emplacements protecting the Marseille Port, including 88mm guns, heavy machine guns, and Atlantic Wall coastal defense guns. Scene shifts to German soldiers marching near the French Riviera beach and palm trees. Italian cavalry are seen riding in formation, ostensibly from Nice. Italian soldiers in trucks are being transported along the Riviera waterfront. A road sign points toward Toulon at 6.3 kilometers away. (So this location is probably near Sanary-sur-Mer.) View of the Toulon harbor, where the French battleship Provence, scuttled in 1942, is seen settled low in the water at a pier.

The Obelisque at Place de la Condcorde. Hitler with other officials visit The Trocadero and look at the Eiffel Tower.
