Life of U.S. soldiers in various theaters, operating under very difficult conditions during World War II. Soldiers take positions in dense woods and fire rifles during a combat operation. They run and advance in a battlefield. African American U.S. army soldiers load and fire an artillery piece. A planes crashes, but pilot's parachute is seen safely descending. B-26 hit by flak, bursts into flame, part of engine falls away and aircraft spirals out of control on fire. Aircraft shot out of sky by fighter from behind.
