Life of U.S. soldiers in various theaters, operating under very difficult conditions during World War II. Soldiers take positions in dense woods and fire rifles during a combat operation. They run and advance in a battlefield. African American U.S. army soldiers load and fire an artillery piece. A planes crashes, but pilot's parachute is seen safely descending. B-26 hit by flak, bursts into flame, part of engine falls away and aircraft spirals out of control on fire. Aircraft shot out of sky by fighter from behind. Glider aircraft noses forward during landing and flips up in the air. Gun camera footage from a U.S. aircraft firing at another aircraft on the ground.
