Cornelius McGillicuddy, better known as "Connie Mack," was manager and co-owner of the Philadelphia Athletics baseball team for 50 years. He is seen here at age 84, sitting alone in the dugout at Shibe Park, making motions as if he were repositioning his fielders during an actual baseball game.
