Opening scene shows a Navy anti-submarine warfare SH-3A helicopter, of ASM Squadron HS-11, from Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 52 (CVSG-52) on the Carrier USS Wasp (CVS-18). It is filmed from another nearby helicopter as it executes a "dippiing sonar" procedure during fleet maneuvers in the Caribbean Sea. .It is seen lowering an ASW tranducer, into the water by means of a cable. The helicopter remains in a hover throughout the sequence, with the sonor buoy deployed.
