Men of the ship's Marine Detachment, supervised by an Aviation Ordnanceman, hang the bombs on the wings. A gas crew fuels the wing pod on the aircraft. Hoses in the foreground. Men of the Marine Detachment push bomb carts over the flight deck, with bombs to be loaded aboard the aircraft.. They are monitored by Aviation Ordnancemen, AOC Fidel Cisneroz, AO3 Jim Freemon, and LTJG Dan Clark. Four pilots in flight gear, walk on the flight deck.
