Children gather to compete at the National Marbles Tournament in Wildwood to find out who is the mightiest mibster, or marble player. Several hexagonal shaped mats are laid on floor. Two players face-off each other per mat. Spectators gather in number to cheer up for their favorites. Fellow players watch as the final round goes on. Gerald Robinson, a 14 year old boy from Scranton, emerges as the proud winner. Gerald Robinson is given the MIBS title crown by an official present.

President addresses nation in conference hall full of legislators ,reporters,and photographers. President says 'America must spent billions on weapons to aid the embattled democracies of world'. Thousands of mummers parade the streets of Philadelphia on New Year's day. Revelers dressed in amusingly elaborate costumes exhibit a sparkling show. Various decorative displays and movable scenery can also be seen. People gather in number across streets and witness the colorful event. Some men dressed as women (in drag). A costumed pair are announced with a banner that reads 'Marie Antoinette...Louis XVI' while another vignette in which crude dentistry is mimed is identified by a sign on a car that reads, 'Duke and Duchess of Winsores Arrive for Big Yank' Many performers are seen in blackface.
