Soldiers descend from landing boats and reach the beaches of Normandy. Allied infantrymen march inwards from the beach. War bonds appeal people to join the Allied forces.

Airmen and sailors aboard attach bombs and prepare planes for a raid on Japan. Planes take off from the strip of carrier one after the other. Navigator makes plans for returning the planes. The planes land on the strip after completing the mission. Large guns on the ships. British 8th Air Force raids Nazi supply lines on the European Front. Immense smoke rises by the bombs dropped on Nazi positions. A German fighter plane shot in air by Allied warplane.
Allied forces liberate Greece from German occupation and civilians cheer for them, during World War II. British convoy of warships and boats reach the harbor of Athens. Commanders look at the harbor. British Army with Polish and Greek regular army soldiers march on roads towards Athens. Civilians cheer, hail, welcome them, raise posters and banners- including a photo of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Greek and British soldiers visit ancient Greek monuments such as the Parthenon. Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou reviews honor guard of combined British, Greek and Polish forces. Greek civilians on roads and buildings hail Prime Minister Papandreou who pays homage to Greek soldiers and salutes them. Greek girls carry national flag to a monument and Papandreou and others follow them.
Nazi Germans start armament and intensify their preparations for war under leadership of Adolf Hitler in Germany.
