First part deals with World War II Allied war crimes trials of Japanese defendants in detained in Omori Prisoner of War Camp in Tokyo, Japan. Second part is Japanese General Tomoyuki Yamashita on trial for war crimes in Manila, Philippines. Few Military soldiers talk to each other at a camp. The first memorial erected to commemorate U.S.prisoners of war executed by the Nazis during the battle of the bulge (mostly elements of the American 285th Field Artillery Observation Battalion (FAOB), executed by the Kampfgruppe Peiper (part of the 1st SS Panzer Division). This was also known as the Massacre at Baugnez, or the Malmedy Massacre. A wooden cross and a sign reading 'USA - Belgium. To the prisoners of war of overseas who liberated the East districts and were the victims of Nazis cruelty." The wooden cross at the monument to commemorate the massacre of 115 American prisoners at Baugnez on December 17th 1944 during the Battle of Bulge, in World War 2.

New York City motorcycle policemen gathered on a city street in readiness to escort Harry S. Truman upon his first official visit to the city as President. He is seen riding in an open car, accompanied by Secret Service agents and several U.S. Naval officers. New Yorkers line the sidewalks to catch a glimpse of the President. Workers, of the 32nd Street Western Cafeteria, line the sidewalk in front of their restaurant in the Chelsea neighborhood. The Presidential motorcade crossing the Manhattan Bridge to Brooklyn, and then turning into the gate of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Sailors lining the Navy Yard roadway presenting arms.
