15 Divisions of German troops (266 thousand) surrender to the Allies, ending the Tunisia campaign during World War II
At beginning, the film shows German soldiers surrendering in World War 2. First they surrender in small groups and then in increasingly larger numbers. Eventually whole divisions are seen surrendering, some even marching behind their Division brass band. They are being interned in outdoor areas under guard. A U.S. Military policemen monitors some and collects identifications papers from them as they enter a barbed wire enclosure. Numerous views of the German soldiers, some arriving in full open railroad cars. Allied delegates arrive for the international conference at Lavidia Palace in Yalta (WW2)

Livadia Palace (Baturyna St, 44-а, Livadiya, 98655) outside the town was built by Tsar Nicolas II. Most of the conferences are held in this palace. The palace building venue has sprawling gardens. Direct traffic into the palace ground. The cars enter the grounds and dignitaries get off. High ranking military and government officials arrive for an international meeting. U.S. President Roosevelt at the table and the conference begins. Allied delegates around the table. Joint Communication Center is set up and soldiers work. Conclusion 1st part: BIG 3 surrounded by their Chiefs of Staff and civilian officials pose in the patio of the Lavidia Palace. A picture is clicked. The three leaders Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin seated and state ministers behind them. The conference proceeds, delegates seated around a table. The conference ends and the United States, Soviet Union, and Great Britain release their joint statement. Substantial agreement passed. U.S. President John F. Kennedy, Vice President Lyndon Johnson, Governor Connally, Senator Yarborough, at rally in Fort Worth
United States President John F. Kennedy speaks at rally in parking lot opposite the at Hotel Texas (815 Main St, Fort Worth, TX 76102) in Fort Worth, Texas on the morning before his assassination. Others in attendance include Vice President Lyndon Johnson, Texas Governor John Connally, and Senator Ralph Yarborough. Rain and drizzle fall. The President is seen walking under a marquee at the hotel with words, "Welcome to Forth Worth, where the West begins", and out to the crowd waiting in the rain. He shakes hands with people in the crowd and then ascends a stage with the rest of the officials. After introductions, Vice-President Johnson speaks very briefly and then President Kennedy speaks at the podium, flanked by the other officials. The Presidential Seal is displayed on the podium. Men take pictures. Reporters take notes. People applaud after the speech. The President and the Vice President shake hands with people in the crowd. The President shakes hands with mounted police officers.
Crowds await President Kennedy and react to news of his assassination
Crowds line roadway outside Market Hall in Dallas, awaiting arrival of President Kennedy's motorcade. A policeman controls the crowd. Men stand in a group and talk. One man carries a poster saying: "Yankee go home". Cars parked in the background. A girl and a woman hold welcoming posters, reading "Welcome President Kennedy" and "Yea, JFK". A man holds a poster which reads ' Hail Ceasar'. He marches along the road. His lips are sealed with white tape. Suddenly, a man in the crowd, who appears to have a small radio talks with others nearby, who appear very distressed at what they hear. Word of the shooting spreads rapidly. One woman begins to cry. The crowd starts to disperse.
Body of Lee Harvey Oswald is brought to Chapel for funeral
A young boy takes photographs and police officers watch as coffin containing body of Lee Harvey Oswald is brought to the chapel for burial at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral Director Paul Groody and assistants from Miller's Funeral Home move the coffin along the sidewalk. Spray flowers fall off the coffin and are put back again, as they move it. Several people, mostly photographers and reporters, gather outside the chapel.
