Camera pans over the gathering which includes many U.S. Service personnel in uniform. The oath of office is administered to the elected President of the Philippines, Manuel Roxas. At the conclusion, the American flag is lowered by Paul McNutt, as President Roxas raises that of the Republic of the Philippines. A celebratory parade in Manila includes a float with signs reading: "Let's Produce and Rebuild," among other things. Other floats represent "Mountain Province," and "The City of Manila," "The University of the Philippines," and "The Division of City Schools." One float, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, contains a huge replica machine gear, and models of an aircraft and a ship. It's message is about turning the gear that helps make the nation great. American and Filipino soldiers march, carrying their respective national flags. A white-helmeted military band plays for the marchers. Final scene shows large loose formation of military aircraft in flight very high above the Independence Grandstand, at Rizal Park.

Chancellor Adolf Hitler and Nazi German foreign minister Joachim Von Ribbentrop greets Miklós Horthy, Regent of Hungary, upon his arrival in Salzburg during World War 2. German officials greet Horthy with a Nazi salute. Next, the conferees are seen within the Schloss Klessheim (Klessheim Palace, Kleßheim 1a, 5071 Wals, Austria) where they would, ostensibly, negotiate the German occupation of Hungary (Operation Margarethe). Discussions commence after dignitaries enter the conference hall. General Döme Sztójay, Hungarian ambassador to Germany is present at the conference.

German troops enter Hungary and are warmly greeted by the local populace.

German troops enter Budapest ( reportedly after Hitler learned of secret Hungarian overtures towards the Allies) in World War 2. Locals watch and cheer the German troops. As German troops enter Budapest, they employ a number of different military vehicles. Among those seen are: Sdkfz.251/7 armored half-tracks; Ausf.D pioneer vehicle; Puma 234/2 8-wheeled armored cars, StuG III tank destroyers,and other military vehicles. Soldiers shake hands with civilians and school boys. Kids climb on military tanks and a BMW military motorcycle. Wehrmacht troops look over river with binoculars in the Buda Castle.
