5 June 1940 during Battle of France: German reserves including trucks, soldiers and tanks enters the French city of Merville. The troops cross a bridge over the River Somme. German tanks and infantry cross the bridge and then fire at French positions. Smoke due to bombardment. A French tank is hit. French soldiers surrender with the tank and are taken prisoner by the Germans. A French tank on fire.
