During the retreat back to South Korea, at Yonpo inside the Hamhung - Hungnam defense perimeter. U.S. soldiers evacuate the wounded and other personnel from Yonpo air base. Military covered trucks and vans lined up on snow covered air base. Transport planes in the background including C-119 Flying Boxcars and C-47 of the U.S. Far East Air Forces Combat Cargo Command. Soldiers shift the wounded from the vans into the waiting planes. Soldiers carry the wounded on stretchers onto a U.S. Marines C-54 Skymaster transport aircraft. The C-54 taxis and takes off.
