Citation is read by a Naval Officer as Sgt David B Bleak of the Army medical Service, 223rd Infantry Regiment, United States Army stands by the President. President Eisenhower awards him the Medal of Honor and congratulates him. Also seen in the clip (already having received the Medal of Honor earlier in the ceremony) are 1st Lieutenant James Lamar Stone, 2nd Lieutenant Raymond G. Murphy (barely visible), and Sergeant Hiroshi H. Miyamura (the second Japanese American to have received the Medal of Honor).
