U.S. Army assault on Hill 875 South West of Dakto, South Vietnam. U.S. soldiers of the 503rd Airborne Infantry Regiment's 2nd and 4th Battalions move up trail through woods for the assault. Officer stops and talk to a soldier. Other soldiers join them. A soldier talks on radio. The troops pause until supporting strikes are made ahead of them before moving forward. They repeat this action several times until they reach the summit, now abandoned by the enemy, leaving only wreckage, a tangle of burnt bush and trees and a charred corpse. Soldiers carry a rolled litter. (Vietnam War period).
