The state funeral of assassinated United States President John F Kennedy in Washington DC. The Kennedy family including Kennedy's wife Jacqueline, daughter Caroline, brother and Attorney General Robert Kennedy walk out of the U.S. Capitol (First St SE, Washington, DC 20004, United States). They come down the stairs. Guards on either side of the staircase. Newly appointed President Lyndon B Johnson and Mrs. Lady Bird Johnson (the First Lady) offer their condolences to Jacqueline Kennedy. She gets into a waiting limousine and leaves. Kennedy's flag draped casket on the Lincoln catafalque inside the Capitol Rotunda. Police escorts on motorbikes accompany Jacqueline Kennedy's car as it makes it's way down watered streets and Pennsylvania Avenue. A large crowd of people gathered on either side of the roads. Cars and pedestrians all along. A national television presenter reports about the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald, the main suspect in the Kennedy assassination.
