They turn to look back at the camera as they pass local villagers. Next, they are seen cossing a bridge over a river. Camera records them from position between columns of troops. Many look back as they pass the camera. In another scene, the troops march past a Korean man hauling crops in a wagon pulled by two oxen. Setting sun highlights the troops moving along a dirt road in hilly terrain.
