Soldiers place 290 pounds shells on small carts during Battle of Arras in World War I. They pull the cart to transfer shells. The transferred shells are piled in a shade. On signaling, soldiers come out of dugouts called 'Muddy Banks'. They rush to positions near piled shells. A shell is loaded on a gun.
