World War 2 Luftwaffe training film about operation of the Messerschmitt Me-262 jet aircraft. Senior pilot describing controls in the Me-262 to another pilot seated in the cockpit. Camera shows engine power level and exhaust gas temperature gauges for the twin engines. Pilot in cockpit moves throttle lever. Engines are started. Camera focuses on flames emitted from rear of engine as they increase and decrease in response to pilots control pressure. Left engine fuel consumption rate indicator seen increasing. Pilot moves left engine power control forward. Next both fuel consumption gauges are back to idle. The instructor and trainee converse some more. Pilot slowly moves right engine control forward and fuel flow indicator reflects this. Some toggle switches are adjusted. Power is reduced, and gauges reflect it. The same process is repeated with the left engine. Pilot manipulates control for wing flapsand camera shows one extended to extreme downward position and back up again.
