Germany ten years after World War II. A construction process in Mainz, Germany. A small cement mixer in operation. A German worker wheels a wheelbarrow filled with cement blocks onto a hoist platform from where it is hoisted up to the top of the building. Another wheelbarrow is placed on the hoist platform. Two wheelbarrows are hoisted up to the top of the building. The cement mixer in operation and cement is poured onto a wheelbarrow. The operator of the cement mixer dumps concrete from the mixer into the wheelbarrow. He prepares another batch of cement. A worker with a wheelbarrow loaded with concrete wheels it in front of cement mixer to the platform. It is hoisted to the top of the building.
