After polishing and grinding, sheets of glass are washed with acid and water. These sheets are then cut into special shapes at a safety glass factory in United States. A cellulose acetate sheet is placed between two glass sheets and rollers are moved over it. Sheets are heated at 300 degrees Fahrenheit and subjected to 200 pounds of pressure before final polishing and grinding. After this, safety glass is ready for installation.
