A snow covered farm at a Crow Native American Indian Reservation in Montana. Cattle in a pen try to avoid being roped. One is roped and tied by Crow Indian farmer, who then knocks the animal down with a blow from the flat side of an axe. Another man runs to help him dispatch the animal. He then proceeds to butcher it as two boys watch. He playfully slaps one of the boys with a piece of the butchered animal.
