Musicologist John Lomax, plays recording of music by Lead Belly (Huddie William Ledbetter), an American folk and blues musician. John Lomax holds one of the aluminum disc recording of Lead Belly's music that he and his son, Allan, recorded for the Library of Congress. He has some difficulty placing it and playing it on a victrola phonograph. They listen to the recording, and Lomax comments about it as it plays. View of an interior section of Library of Congress.
