Newsreel "Office wife turns cook in New City Fad." A business man working at a desk in an office in Chicago. A woman typing at a typewriter in the same office. The man looks at his watch and appears to signal to the woman a request to prepare a meal. The woman, who is also his wife, gets up and dons an apron in a kitchen area. She lays a table for breakfast or lunch at the same table where she had been typing earlier. The man and the woman eat the meal together. The man kisses the woman and gets up from the table to return to work. (Themes include role of women in 1930s America, and working women in the United States.)
