USS Saint Paul (CA-73) underway at sea off Vietnam. Crew members place shells on shell hoist. They roll an 8 inch shell into the hoist. A shield is lowered by a sailor in the Powder Magazine area of the ship. Two powder bags are placed in the slot and the door is closed. A sailor presses a button. He opens a metal door, loads two powder bags and hoists the metal shield.
