The Battle of Okinawa. General C Richardson Junior arrives at 7th Division cemetery in Okinawa and pays respect to Late General Bolivar Buckner. He reaches General Bucker's grave. Air Force General Henry H Arnold and General George Kenney arrive at an airfield for a meeting. They are greeted by officials. General heads for 10th Army headquarters. Tanks and infantry use flamethrowers, grenades, explosives and other weapons in the battle. Caves are blasted with flamethrowers and grenades. Dead Japanese soldier lay on field. Japanese prisoners interrogated and interned. Tanks advance in valley and fire at enemy positions on hills. Artillery explosion on field. Tank uses flame thrower to clear wooded area. Soldiers hurl a grenade. Marine riflemen advance toward cave through tall grass. (World War II period).
