Polaris submarine, with some crew members on deck, cruises on surface into harbor, where it is met by tug boats, which manuever it along a river. several people watch from the shore. Tugs move the submarine close to a pier, under a large derrick. A crewman throws a line from the sub to the pier. Then the submarine is made fast with several lines.
