Saint Patrick's Day being celebrated at Cassino front in Italy during World War II. General Alexander, who served with the Regiment in WW1, celebrates St. Patrick's Day with the 1st Battalion Irish Guards. He presents the Shamrock as well as gallantry awards to the Guardsmen who had fought at Anzio. Later they march past while General Alexander takes the salute.
