A Ford Motor Company rubber plantation in Brazil (possibly part of Belterra). A Brazilian worker scoring a rubber tree. He places a can below a tap to collect latex. The worker nails a heavy cable at an angle around the rubber tree, chops off the bark below the cable and packs mud around the cable. He hangs a can at the lower end of the cable. The worker lights a fire and places a large can with holes on its top over the fire. He pours latex from a cup over a stick that is held over the smoke from fire. (World War II period).
