American artillerymen of 102nd U.S. Field Artillery unit cover the barrel of their French 75 field piece and come out of their positions cheering and waving their hats to celebrate the Armistice ending World War 1. American troops, of the 6th Infantry Division, stand around as an American military band plays. Some French soldiers holding French flags share in the celebrations. Two American soldiers start to dance and are soon surrounded by others dancing in a circle around them. Many soldiers and some civilians are seen in the gathering near Remoiville, France.
