Vietnamese men, women, and children escaping during fall of Saigon as it is taken by North Vietnamese at the end of the Vietnam War. Vietnamese civilians cross flight deck from a UH-1 helicopter that brought them to the USS Midway. Sailors push the helicopter overboard. Another UH-1 flies over a small U.S. Navy launch and the helicopter ditches in the sea. The launch moves in to pick up evacuees from the water.
