A training film on functions of military policemen during town patrolling in the United States. The MPs are ordered to investigate trouble spots where trouble might be expected. Men check a bar. If there is a need to go inside the building, they should not go alone. The MPs enter the bar. People seated at tables. A fight erupts. If the MPs cannot handle the situation, they should call more MPs. An MP calls the headquarters. He talks to a desk sergeant and tells him how many more men are needed in the bar. The desk sergeant sends the men. The civilians are arrested by the civilian police and the soldiers by the MPs. (World War II period).
