An airman demonstrates techniques to negotiate in river jams: The airman uses a hollow stem as a breathing tool in the river. He uses leaves and vegetation as a camouflage device while crossing the river. The airman can negotiate with large jams and waterfalls using quick release pack, handrails or other safety devices.
