Outside, the father tells daughter he wants her to marry a different man. That man tries to kiss her but she is rescued by her boyfriend and they ride away on horses. They are pursued by the father and his intended son-in-law. They catch up with them but are held off by an official who protects them and points gun at the pursuing pair.
