Lt. Edward Murphy (USS Pueblo Executive Officer) expresses his desire to “return home as quickly as possible to the United States of America” during a propaganda news conference for foreign correspondents in Pyongyang, North Korea. “I admitted and apologize and am repentant for the crimes which I committed against the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea” Lt.
