United States soldiers lay canvas containers on the ground in Newbury, Berkshire, England during World War II. They roll out canvas and lay mortar shells on top of it. The soldiers wrap the mortar shells with the canvas. They attach the canvas containers with parachutes. Soldiers carry a wicker trunk. They open the trunk and place resupply field rations on the trunk. A small container with the label “U.S. ARMY FIELD RATION C”. They close the trunk. The soldiers attach a parachute on the wicker trunk before carrying it away.
