Several British submarines on the surface nest to a tender, near a steel railroad bridge in the United Kingdom, during World War 1.. On one submarine, smoke stacks are rotated down to nest inside the deck and their openings sealed with hatches.The boat then submerges.in the water. It later surfaces, raises its smoke stacks and proceeds on the surface with smoke billowing from its stacks. Officers assemble on deck in front of a smoke stack with 'K6' stenciled on it.
