German slates refer to the dream of "Northern" people to fly, fulfilled by aircraft development. Scenes from Paris airshow in 1908, when it was a feature of the automobile show that year. Hangars bear names of aircraft companies: Bleriot; Vetze and others, with historic vintage airplanes of the period parked on the grass in front of each. A man plays with a dog in the grass. Spectators are seated in stands set up in the background. Scene shifts to 1935, where a long row of German aircraft are shown parked with engines running. Then it shifts to 1943, during World War 2, with a long line of German Messerschmitt aircraft parked with engines running. An animated map shows air lines of communication emanating from center of Germany and extending throughout Europe. Huge formations of German warplanes are seen in flight.

Goebbels arrives and is led through the crowd by officers and soldiers. He acknowledges the crowd and takes his place on stage. Officers and soldiers seated on stage. Goebbels begins his speech. He talks about the Allied assault on Europe, V-1 bombs and their use against England. He praises Adolf Hitler and the German people. The people laugh and applaud during the address. Lieutenant Willruth of 335 Squadron, 4th Fighter Group,8th Air Force, engages German Messerschmitt Bf-109 aircraft flying low over mountainous area in Germany. Seen via gun camera footage, from his North American P-51 Mustang airplane, gunfire hits the Bf-109 which starts smoking. At TC:00:18, the German pilot bails out. The aircraft goes out of control, catches fire and crashes. The gun camera continues to record, showing another encounter with a German fighter plane. As it is struck by gunfire, it rolls over and descends trailing white smoke. An explosive flash occurs and the German airplane free falls straight down into forest below, leaving a wide trail of white smoke. (World War II period).
