Soviet Space dogs Mushka, Laika,and Albina, are held on leashes by a researcher. They wear special harnesses equipped to capture vital signs. The dog Albina had already been on two sub-orbital space flights. But Laika was deemed better suited for this mission. Her space cabin is displayed.
