The conference ends and the United States, Soviet Union, and Great Britain release their joint statement. Substantial agreement passed. A launch pulls up to the USS Quincy (CA-71) and a naval officer comes aboard. A flag of the United States on the ship. Sailors aboard the USS Quincy salute as King Ibn Saud (also called King Abdulaziz) of Saudi Arabia returns to the USS Murphy (DD-603), which is tied up close to the USS Quincy. The King is accompanied by Colonel Eddy, USMC, serving as interpreter and members of the Royal party. Numerous views of members of the Royal party on board the USS Murphy. Rugs can be seen on deck.
