Narrator discusses logistics of combining the long thrust bayonet attack with the withdrawal from said attack, and how to coach a group of soldiers into being fluid with the movement. This occurs over footage of an instructor demonstrating the move, first slowly and then at full speed. 6 trainees practice the moves with an instructor coaching them. First each move is done one by one, then chained together until all are performed in one fluid movement. The entire sequence is practiced two times.
