Models show four types of rebreathers approved by the United States Bureau of Mines- Paul, Gibbs, Fleuss-Davis, and MC CAA. An oxygen bottle is installed in Oxygen Breathing Apparatus. Men charge the regenerator with chemicals to absorb carbon dioxide from exhaling, places regenerator back to the Oxygen Breathing Apparatus. Man disinfects Oxygen Breathing Apparatus mouthpiece and tubes in a solution of bichloride of mercury or Lysol. Man rinses disinfected tubes with water before installing them back to the apparatus.
