A U.S. Air force F-100C Supersabre jet rounds out in nose-high attitude, during attempted emergency landing at Edwards Air Force Base, California. The pilot applies full power, attempting go around, but the aircraft continues in the same uncontrollable condition (known as a "Sabre Dance"). The aircraft yaws to the right and its right wing lowers, striking the runway and causing it to crash in a ball of fire.
