Lieutenant General William H. Simpson, Commanding General of the U.S. Ninth Army in Western Europe, arrives by jeep and talks at length individually to several soldiers of the U.S. 35th Infantry Division (attached to the British 21st Army Group). Lt. Gen. Simpson is greeted by XVI Corps CG MG John B Anderson who escorts Simpson into XVI Corps Headquarters. Lt. Gen. Simpson and MG Anderson stand with British Army Generals including MG Lyne of British 7th Armored. Simpson then puts on coat and helmet. Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lt. Gen. Simpson, Lt. Gen. Omar N Bradley come out of the Corps Headquarter building and enter a car.

Motion of the film is stopped momentarily as the German plane is struck and burning. Then it resumes and the RAF fighter pulls up and away. More gun camera images shows German bombers being struck by gun fire. Gun camera film pauses to show German aircrew bailing out of the stricken bomber. Another gun camera image shows pieces of a German bomber being blown off the plane by RAF gunfire. Next, British gun camera shows firing at a German Dornier 17 bomber (Do 17), which gets hit in the left wing and rolls over with its left wing on fire. Another German plane (possibly a Junkers 88 (Ju 88), with its landing gear extended) being shot to pieces. Scene shifts to ground where burning wreckage of destroyed German planes is seen, as RAF fighters land in the background. RAF fighter pilot climbs out of his aircraft cockpit. Next, a group of returning British pilots walks toward the camera. Their parked aircraft are in the background.

Iconic British pop band “The Beatles” is awarded the MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire). Crowds of teenage fans stand outside the Buckingham Palace in London. Shrieking fangirls jumping, trying to get a glimpse of their idols as police held them back. The Beatles arrive at the palace in John Lennon’s Rolls-Royce. The pop group is invested with the 'Most Excellent Order' of the British Empire for their economic contribution to the United Kingdom. It was the first time that the MBE was bestowed upon "pop stars". The Beatles- John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison- hold their medals. Audience cheers and waves. Cameramen take photographs. Some fans run after John Lennon’s Rolls-Royce as it drives away outside the Buckingham Palace.
