Excellent views of a U.S. Navy HO3S-1A helicopter. (This is the U.S. Navy version of the Sikorsky S-51, also known as an H-5). This particular helicopter is one of the first four Sikorsky S-51 helicopters ordered by the U.S. Navy in 1946 for use in Operation High Jump operations in Antarctica.
