Scene shifts to a tank nose down and half submerged in mud. Ford employees stand about watching and several use shovels to clear mud away from the tank.

African American men and women sing gospel spiritual music and praise at bank of the river as several people in their community are baptized. One woman is moved in a way that she appears to be overcome with emotion and almost convulse following her baptism.
