In the line of march members of the 44th Division Ski Patrol are seen carrying their skis. People sit with umbrellas to watch the parade. Some bleachers set up have few spectators, because of the rain. A child watches the soldiers. Charles Lindbergh welcomed as he arrives at the New York Harbor for celebration of his nonstop transatlantic flight.

Aviator Charles Lindbergh returns after his nonstop trans-Atlantic flight from New York to Paris that completed on May 21, 1927.
