During the instruction period an officer gives a class on Morse code to the students. Morse code charts placed on a wall in the classroom. Students wearing headphones practice coding and radio operating. The officer directs as the students operate a telegraph instrument and practice to increase sending and receiving speed. The officer gives an assignment sheet to each student to note down transmitting poles.
