The Nationalist Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) engaged in the Salween campaign of Western Yunnan Province in World War 2. KMT troops fire field artillery at Japanese positions in a valley. They also fire heavy mortars. KMT soldiers firing small trench mortars from positions inside destroyed buildings.

Allied Military Government working to provide medical care and food to Italians in liberated parts of Italy during World War II
Relief activities of the Allies in Italy during World War 2. Opening scene shows a sailing Schooner under Allied Navy control, docked at a port in Italy following the Allied invasion of Italy in 1943. This schooner is being loaded with Allied Military Government (AMG) medical supplies. Closeup of wooden crates containing the supplies. Challenges faced by the Allied Military Government while trying to reestablish Italian self reliance in agriculture during World War 2. Film opens showing Italian-sourced food supplies being delivered, as Narrator discusses problems of black market. He notes that Italian wheat growers who fail to declare excess grain are raided. Officials are seen entering and seizing grain from warehouse of such a grain merchant. Loaded trucks pass checkpoints set up on highways. Efforts of the Allied Military Government to restore normalcy in the lives of Italians during World War II
Views of Financial institutions in Italy, during oversight by the Allied Military Government (AMG) in World War 2. Seen are buildings of the National Bank of Lavoro and The Bank of Sicily, that were undamaged by bombing. Inside a financial building, American soldiers are lined up to obtain "scrip" (special currency issued by the Allied Military Government). Sign at the cashier window reads: "currency exchange." A soldier holds a piece of Scrip. American soldiers making purchases from street vendors. One eating and apple he just purchased. Men working under AMG auspices to bring a damaged electric power plant back on line again. A steam locomotive begins pulling a train out of a station, as Italian railroad operations resume again under administration of the AMG. Passengers look out the windows as the train passes the camera. On a street corner, a man obtains a copy of a newspaper (Sicilia Liberata) as a free press reappears under the AMG. Churches are seen including one with a large gathering of persons outside. Red Cross workers are seen among others making their way across a makeshift passageway near a destroyed bridge. Other general scenes of Italian citizens living under the administration of the AMG.
Allied forces gather in British seaside ports and depart in convoys to invade France during World War II
Opening scene shows U.S. troops, tanks, jeeps, and trucks assembled in a sandy marshaling area in southern England preparing to proceed, on 30 May 1944, to embarkation points for the invasion of France during World War 2. Troops are seen heading toward Sherman tanks, landing vehicles, tracked, and other military vehicles. An army Captain is seen overseeing some of the activity. The troops riding armored vehicles and trucks begin moving in formations from the marshaling area. Wading tanks and Sherman tanks, some pulling artillery pieces, are seen moving through an English town.(An unusual deep wading tank with no turret and two forward guns in the front is seen. (It seems to be a modified Stuart tank.) Next, the vehicles are seen arriving at a seaport pier, where a large transport ship is docked.
