Musmanno announces that three defendants are to be arraigned separately because they were ill when the remainder of the prisoners were arraigned. The prosecutor, Ben Ferencz, makes his opening speech in which he says that the court is not looking for vengeance but rather a plea of humanity to law.

British Aviators complete the flight between Europe and America at Floyd Bennett Field,New York. Plane lands at airport and a group of guards escort the flyers. British Aviators Lt. Maurice Rossi and Paul Codos surrounded by excited crowd and media persons. The aviators completed their record flight in their Joseph Le Brix monoplane.
